Gates of Antares - Boromite Tractor Maul Preview

Tonight on the blog I have something a bit special. A preview of the up and coming Boromites with Tractor Mauls.

Parts

The box contains 5 different bodies, heads and tractor mauls.  The bodies are very nice sculpts.  The gang fighters and work gang with mass compactors were nearly the same bodies but with different weapons. These guys look to be brand new sculpts.  I like that the models are not carrying the same amount of equipment as the other units.  They look like they were working and grabbed there tools and ran off for a fight.  The leader is even smoking a cigar.

There are 5 head options.  They are all wearing full face plates, very reminiscent of welder masks which keeps up the work gang feel. The mask with the single eye looks the best.  We also have one with the mask up for the leader.

The Tractor Mauls attach to the bodies via a ball socket which goes onto a power cable.

Build

Like the other Boromite infantry figures these guys are pretty easy to build.  The tractor mauls attach to the bodies in 2 places, at the power cables and have a large handle which lines up with the hands easily.

Conclusion

Another great addition to the Boromite range.  Easy to assemble and the figures are packed with character and look like they are right out of the mines.

Thanks for reading.
